The Ohio University Data Warehouse was first rolled out in 1996, running on the Informix database application. For the first time, users were able to create their own reports, charts, and spreadsheets, as well as download data from the Data Warehouse to address their specific information needs. In 1999, the data warehouse was migrated to an Oracle environment, environment running on an IBM OS/390 mainframe.
